X is the only platform with a per-post API fee. They moved to pay-per-use in early 2026. Every other platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Google Business) is free for us to post to, so there is no per-post charge. What you pay in AI Credits when posting to X: a plain tweet is 2 credits, a tweet that contains a link is 22 credits, and threads charge per tweet (a 5-tweet thread = 5 charges). The charge only fires when a post is actually published. Drafting and scheduling are free. Daily X tweet limits (rolling 24-hour window, applies across all your workspaces): Free trial 1/day, Launch 10/day, Scale 50/day, Agency 100/day. Connected X account limits: Free trial 1, Launch 2, Scale 8, Agency 25. Connecting an X account itself does not cost credits. The recurring cost only kicks in when you publish, refresh your inbox, or open analytics.

We refuse the next X post with a clear message. We never charge for posts that did not actually go out, and we never silently add overage charges. If you hit your daily X tweet cap, the limit resets on a rolling 24h window, so just wait it out, or move up a tier for a higher daily cap. If you run out of AI Credits, you can top up credits any time from your billing page, or enable pay-as-you-go billing so additional usage is charged to your payment method at the standard credit rate ($0.01 per credit). All other platforms keep working normally. Only X needs credits.
